While I was drawing this, a girl got out of the pool, came over and stood dripping in front of me with the hands clutched under her chin and and said, ‘Ma’am, can I see what you’re drawing?’
‘Of course you can,’ I said, ‘come behind me and have a look,’
‘My,’ she said, ‘that’s really good,’
Then suddenly, there were about 4 little girls standing around saying things like, ‘Ooh, that’s pretty,’ and ‘I wish I could draw like that’.
